Sometimes, the first story we tell isn't where the journey begins. Grandma Pearl Goes to Heaven was the first book written in the Grandma Pearl Series. Although it introduces readers to a significant ending in Grandma Pearl and Kadian's journey, it was never meant to be the beginning of their story. It was the story that came to my heart first. Through Grandma Pearl's passing, readers meet a little girl navigating the loss of someone she deeply loves. But beneath that story of grief is a much bigger story, one of love, faith, family, and the beautiful legacy a grandmother leaves behind. There is more to Grandma Pearl and Kadian's story than the goodbye. The Grandma Pearl Series invites you to discover the moments, lessons, and love that make that goodbye so meaningful.

I purchased this book for my 4 year old daughter. She loves the story line and the illustrations. She has asked me to read it to her every night since we got it. It makes me think about my grandmother who is also in heaven. I would definitely recommend.

A great book to address loss & grief with children, helping them to focus on positive memories while dealing with the feelings of loss. A great story about a little girl and her love for her grandma. It shows the legacy of a love for Christ that can be passed from 1 generation to another.

Grandma Pearl touched my heart. The special relationships between the granddaughter, Jesus and Kadian and her parents touched my spirit. Themes of faith, Hope and love are presented with simplicity.
